Email me with a short description of the project.

Call me at an arranged time to discuss your needs and expectations.

Decide if I’m the editor for you.

Going ahead

Book in while you’re finishing your draft or outline to minimise the wait.

If it’s for a Structural Edit, decide if you want the edit-only or extra support of the additional talk-through.

Make payment in full and email me your novel, outline or opening chapters (depending on the package chosen).

Payment received, I give you a fair idea when I can start editing your work. An exact start date may not be possible due to factors in the work ahead of yours.

If you make substantial changes before I start, you can substitute an updated draft.

What you receive with a Structural Edit

Your manuscript marked up with comments throughout.

A full report detailing strong points and issues such as story, style, character, dialogue, pace, originality, layout and presentation.

Specific points illustrated with examples and ideas.

Suggestions on structure, plotting and any areas that could work better or should be cut.

Extra support – Talk-through

If you’ve selected this option, we arrange a video/audio call or meeting in central London.

We go through the entire manuscript and my comments together.

We’ll also talk more generally about the whole project and your next steps.
